What’s that thing about trusting yourself?

Trusting yourself. It sounds like something someone would say to placate you when you’re going through a hard time or have to make a difficult decision. But there is something to be said for trust and putting your faith is what is meant to be. It CAN get you through difficult situations. Times are tough right now and there has never been a more perfect opportunity to manage your stress.

Here are some things to keep in mind:
  1. Look back and see how far you’ve come. You’ve come through difficult times before so you can do it again.
  2. Trusting that things will work out can put you in a better mood and help you feel more productive. Work on things you can change, make a list and cross things off.
  3. Don’t let uncertainty throw off your game. Accept what you can’t change and work on things you can. Give yourself a creative or playful outlet such as writing, exercising or cooking.
  4. Quell your anxiety with meditation, deep breathing or some other stress-relief.

It’s tempting to doubt your strength and resilience, to forget supportive people are around. But once you stop and take a look at your life and your circumstances, practicing gratitude and having faith is easier.

Our website is here to help you manage your stress. We have a meditation teacher training for those who want to deepen their practice or learn to teach meditation. We created The Collective Membership to help teachers with their self care. Join our mailing list for updates on our website and offerings. We have slowly built up our offerings and revised our website to make it more inviting for teachers to navigate. We want to continue to be the place where teachers go to grow their business.
