What is the cancellation policy?

Refund/Reschedule Policy: Bookings are non-refundable, non-transferable and must be booked upon purchase. You have 48 hours to reschedule your reservation. Cancellations received less than 48 hours in advance or no shows will not be rescheduled and credits will be lost. There are no refunds.

How do I get into the studio for class? Will anybody be there to sign people in?

You will receive an email 24 hours before your reservation with the door code and instructions for your class. You will let yourself into the studio, teach, clean up after yourself and close the door behind you. You can ask your students to sign in and sign our waiver. We ask that you leave the studio as you found it when you leave.

What if I teach an hour class but want extra time to set up?

Your space reservation includes set up and clean up so if you teach an hour class, you will need to book an hour and a half. This will allow you time before and after your class. For instance, if you book 7-8:30PM, you can schedule your class for 7:15-8:15PM and have 15 minutes before and after your class. If someone is booked after you, you must keep track of your time and exit the studio in time for the next class to begin on time.

Do I need professional liability insurance?

Yes, we need you to send a copy of your teaching liability insurance before you teach. Please also add us as additional insured. The insurance must be current and valid during the time of your class. Liability insurance is important for you and us. Email nicole@yogacollectivenyc.com with any questions.

What props are available?

We have 24 mats, 37 blankets, 15 bolsters, 24 yoga straps and 50 blocks. All mats and props are included in the rental price. We also have Wifi, speakers for music, air conditioning, a ceiling fan and water. We have two tables and 10 chairs.

How many people can comfortably fit in the studio?

We have 24 mats and props for 24 mats but it can be tight. If you want room to walk around with ease and want extra space for your students, limit your class to 18-20 yogis.

Will my class or workshop be featured on your site?

We will advertise your class on our social media and website for free. When you book, select the option yes for adding your class to our website.  Also, send us an email at nicole@yogacollectivenyc.com with a picture representing your class or workshop, a description of your class, a link to your website and we will post on social media.

Do you offer private classes?

We don’t offer instruction for private group or individual classes. Your group will need a yoga instructor; we can provide you a space and props.
